There’s something about soaring above a property with a drone that never gets old. I’ve always had an eye for marketing and presentation, but when I discovered drone photography, it completely transformed the way I showcase real estate. Capturing a property from above allows potential buyers to see the big picture -literally - and I truly believe it’s one of the most powerful tools in real estate marketing today.

Why I’m So Passionate About Droning
Flying a drone is more than just a cool gadget - it’s an experience. I love being out in the open, watching the landscape unfold from a bird’s-eye view. It gives me a whole new perspective on the property, the land, and the surroundings. Whether it’s a luxury home, an aviation lot, or wide-open acreage, drone footage lets me tell a more compelling story than ground photos ever could.
There’s a creative spark that comes alive when I’m flying. I find myself looking for the perfect angles, waiting for the right light, and imagining how a potential buyer might feel seeing that sweeping view for the first time. It’s art, technology, and storytelling all rolled into one- and it genuinely brings me joy.
Preparing for a Drone Session: My Top Tips
If you’re getting ready for drone photos of your property, here are a few simple ways to make sure we capture it in the best light:
Tidy Up the Exterior: Remove vehicles, trash cans, hoses, or anything that might distract from the clean lines of your home or land. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but a little effort goes a long way.
Mow and Trim: A freshly mowed lawn or cleared pasture always shows better from above. It gives a neat, well-kept impression that buyers love.
Stage Outdoor Spaces: If you have a pool, fire pit, patio, or barn - make it shine! Set up chairs, light the fire pit if possible, and make the space feel inviting.
Let Me Know About Property Lines or Highlights: If you have a large tract of land or features like a creek, pond, or trails, let’s mark it ahead of time. That way, I can make sure I’m capturing everything that makes your place special.

Why Drone Imagery Helps Sell Your Property
You know the saying, “You only get one chance to make a first impression”? In real estate, that first impression is often online - and drone footage makes it unforgettable.
It Shows the Full Picture: Aerial shots allow buyers to see not just the home, but the layout of the land, the proximity to roads, neighbors, water, or trees, and how everything flows together.
It Highlights Features That Matter: Got a barn, shop, pond, or guest house? Drone footage brings those to the forefront in a way regular photos just can’t.
It Builds Trust and Transparency: Buyers feel more confident when they can see everything—especially if they’re out-of-town or shopping remotely.
It Creates an Emotional Connection: When someone sees a property from above with the sunset hitting just right, or the trees swaying in the wind, it’s powerful. That connection can turn into a showing - and eventually a sale.

I’ve always believed in doing things with excellence, and droning has allowed me to elevate (literally!) the way I serve my clients. Whether it’s a small lot, a sprawling ranch, or a luxury home on the lake, I’d love to help you showcase it from above.
If you're thinking about listing your property, let’s chat. I’d love to bring the drone out and capture what makes your place shine.
